After years of printing 10-15 brochures or pieces of thought leadership for each event Promontory was present at, I was determined to find a better way. Printing was not only costly and challenging in terms of shipping overseas, our attendees reported that there were often large amounts of leftovers that ended up in the dumpster post-event. The solution? A double-sided postcard containing the most important highlights of our services and a QR code linked to a bespoke webpage associated with each card and event. Here, visitors could access PDF or web versions of relevant brochures and articles as well as easily contact PFG representatives. By printing 50 to 100 postcards per event, we saved not only quite a bit of money but many, many trees.
Along with the postcards, I also designed several targeted pop-up banners for our booths at conferences, branded pens and giveaways, and sponsorship web banners.
